Strat® pickguard assembly. Includes
everything ready to drop in to your favorite
Strat® by simply hooking up the hot wire (audio)
and ground wires. Pickup set is
combination of genuine Seymour Duncan flat pole
piece pickups with an SSL-6 in the bridge, SSL-2
Rw/Rp in the middle and an SSL-2 in the neck.
Includes genuine Fender® pickguard, knobs,
switch tip along with top quality CTS
potentiometers, Orange Drop polyester film tone
capacitor and a CRL pickup selector switch.
This SSL-6 / SSL-2 flat pole
piece pickup set is typically used with flatter
radius necks such as 12" or greater or for those
that don't want the vintage pole piece stagger
of typical single coil pickups where the G
string pole piece is considerable higher than
the rest.
The SSL-6 is basically the
same as an SSL-5 and the SSL-2 is basically the
same as an SSL-1 except the SSL-6 and SSL-2 have
flat pole pieces. So if you love the tone of an
SSL-5 in the bridge and an SSL-1 in the middle
and neck, you'll find yourself right at home
with these, but without the characteristics of
the odd vintage style height stagger pole pieces
of the SSL-5 and SSL-1.
The standard 11 hole
pickguards are fully aluminum foil shielded as they come from
Fender,

The
'56/'59, '57, '62 and '65 vintage pickguards
require a separate aluminum pickguard shield
which is to be added extra if so desired. Use
separate "Add to Cart" buttons found below for
addition of these pickguard shields.

Pickup Tone Controls:
With standard Strat® wiring the bridge pickup does
not have a tone control, only the middle and neck
pickups have a tone control. However, we offer
5 alternate pickup
tone control selections to choose from to enhance
your tonal shaping.
- Standard Strat® wiring: Separate
tone control for the middle pickup. Separate
tone control for the neck pickup. No tone
control for the bridge pickup.
- Separate tone control for
the bridge pickup. Middle and neck pickups
share a tone control.

a versatile Stratocaster® sound for the more
modern flatter radius fingerboards, check out
this combination of flat pole piece pickups
with an
SSL-6 in the bridge
position, a SSL-2 Rw/Rp in the middle and a SSL-2
in the neck. This will give you
vintage-accurate neck and middle tones with
plenty of clarity and dynamic range, and
hotter bridge tones that are great for rock
