Shipping Insurance for USA and International Destinations

To insure your merchandise against loss or damage during transit use the correct drop-down option selections below to select insurance coverage based on the total cost of the merchandise you are purchasing. Below are two options for purchasing shipping insurance, the 1'st one below is for United States destinations and the 2'nd one is for International destinations, be sure to select the correct one for your location. The low cost of insurance is worth the peace of mind knowing that in the event of loss or damage during shipping that your merchandise is protected. Not all international destinations allow shipments to be insured and some prohibit insurance above a specific amount determined by that country. If we are unable to insure your shipment, then the amount you paid for insurance will be refunded. The USPS has created an information page for each country which details Prohibitions, Restrictions and Observations for all methods of shipment into each country. Shipping insurance cannot be added to international purchases of less than $200.00 because they typically ship via USPS First Class International which does not allow insurance. If your merchandise purchase is for less than $200.00 and you desire shipping insurance you will have to select International Priority Air or International Express Air shipping method and add the shipping insurance below.

Shipping Insurance For United States Destinations ONLY

Insurance coverage rates begin at $2.75 for up to $50.00 of merchandise value and go up to $17.95 for up to $900.00 of merchandise value.  To have your shipment insured against loss or damage during transit select the value of your merchandise below and add it to the shopping cart.

Shipping Insurance For All International Destinations

Not all countries allow shipping insurance and some countries only allow up to a specific amount of insurance coverage, but for most international destinations insurance coverage for loss or damage during transit can be purchased in addition to the shipping cost. With the International Priority Air and International Express Air shipping service some (not all) international shipments are automatically covered (indemnity) for up to $200.00 of merchandise value, some countries only up to $100.00 of value. Shipping insurance is NOT available for the International Priority Air Service to Israel and United Kingdom, so customers from these countries requiring shipping insurance will need to upgrade their shipping method to International Express Air.  Insurance coverage rates begin at $7.15 for up to $300.00 of merchandise value and go up to $16.60 for up to $800.00 of merchandise value.  There are a number of limitations and restrictions for shipping insurance for many destinations which are too lengthy to go into full detail here, but if you would like your internationally shipped order to be insured for loss or damage during transit, select the value of your merchandise below and add it to the shopping cart.  You can NOT add insurance to any order where you have selected International Economy as your method of shipment, you will need to upgrade your shipping method to International Priority or Express.  If there are any restrictions for insurance coverage to your destination we will let you know and your insurance coverage payment may be refunded.
