Important Information About Operations and Custom Manufactured Merchandise

January 1, 2024 - Due to an immediate family members recent declining health we have temporarily paused the fabrication of select custom merchandise. We need to be at our ailing family members side and the time that would be spent in the shop fabricating certain custom merchandise would pull us away from being able to provide our undivided attention.

These select custom merchandise items that are paused in their fabrication are primarily related to our custom manufactured Acrylic pickguards and back plates which also includes the Gilmour black Strat Acrylic pickguard kits and bracket kits, these items will have their buttons temporarily removed so they cannot be purchased right now. 

There is one exception to this and it is our item #4035, "Custom Built Gilmour 'Black Strat' Inspired Complete Pickguard Assembly Package" which does include an Acrylic pickguard, this exception is simply due to the fact that I need to retain some sort of a resemblance of an income and these Gilmour black Strat projects pickguards and brackets can be fabricated on those few days when we have assistance in caring for our family member and then the final assembly, wiring, soldering and testing can be done in the presence of our family while still being by their side.  It may take a bit longer to get to each project complete but it will be completed within the stated time frame.

So if you do not see an button on any of our Acrylic products and bracket kits you now know why, they simply can't be created right now, but if an item has their button then it is currently available for purchasing.

This may cause our telephone to go to voice mail more often than it normally would, so if it does go to voice mail when you call please be sure to leave us a message.

It's a hard and difficult road we have ahead of us and there is no end in sight, but one thing we do know is that the road is getting more and more difficult and stressful as the days progress.

A notice will be posted at the top of the website when we are able to resume all custom item sales. There is no date or time as to when we may resume since there is no procedure to fix or a cure for the health issue our family is facing.

UPDATE: June 3, 2024 - We have resumed sales of the above mentioned "paused" merchandise items in limited sales runs. We will allow sales of these items in intervals allowing us to complete the projects and get back to our obligations here with our family.  We are receiving limited outside help taking care of our family member so these times of reprise will allow us to create some of the merchandise once again.
