OverDrive Custom Guitar Works' Custom Built 3 Tone Sunburst Strat®

This guitar was assembled in the OverDrive Custom Guitar Works' shop from the necessary parts to replicate the visual appearance and sonic characteristics of our desired Strat. The body and neck were purchased from private parties/individuals. This is NOT an original complete guitar as sold by Fender®.

• Used 2006 3 Tone Sunburst Body.

• Used 2006 70's Style Large Headstock Rosewood Neck

• Vintage 2-7/32" Spacing Tremolo Bridge With Graph Tech String Saver Saddles.
  

• Custom Manufactured Short Stainless Steel 4-1/4" Tremolo Arm.

• Pickups: Fender® Mod Shop Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Pickup Set. The bridge pickup has a DC resistance of 11.6K with inductance of 3.8 Henries. The middle pickup has a DC resistance of 6.5K with inductance of 2.4 Henries. The neck pickup has a DC resistance of 6.5K and inductance of 2.4 Henries.

• Custom Pickup Selection Modification: The middle pickup tone control is a push/push DPDT switch/potentiometer which activates the neck pickup when in the up position. This modification offers a total of 7 unique pickup selections. The new pickup selections are Bridge and Neck pickups activated and all three pickups selected at once.

• Battery Box: Professionally custom routed on rear of the body for installation of the quick change "trap door" battery box. Installed for usage of active pickups which require a 9VDC power source. This allows ease of battery change, does away with having to remove pickguard and strings to change battery. Active pickups are currently not installed in this guitar, but this is a wonderful addition for future changes in electronics possibilities.
