Replacement switch mounting block for Fender's®
DPDT push-push button switch as installed in the
Strat's like the Deluxe Player, Jeff Beck, American Elite Strat® and various other models that use this
type push
button switching method.
 This switch mounting block can
ONLY be used with
Fender's original implementation of this switching
system. It
CAN
NOT be used with our
Revision 2 Kit, #225800-KIT-REV2.
This replacement switch mounting block is attached to the
back side of the pickguard with a strong glue
such as Devcon 22045. In the location where you
are gluing the switch mounting block you will
remove a small portion of the pickguard
shielding, score the pickguard surface and scuff
the mating surface of the switch mounting block
for best adhesion. A
11/32" diameter hole in your pickguard is
required for this switch mounting block to
allow the switch tip to protrude through. A step
bit is a good choice for drilling the hole in
the pickguard and the 11/32" is one of the
diameters on the 1/8" - 1/2" step bit.
